Baseball 2021 season

From Baseball Manitoba:Regarding COVID-19, Public Health and our Return to Play process, on April 8, Manitoba Health announced new Public Health orders, which had little changes and no bearing on outdoor sporting activities. The only change that effects baseball is the extension of the current state and the date of the next orders, which will be April 30, 2021. Bike Cage is set to open April 20th, with our standard hours of 6:00pm – 8:30pm on Tuesdays. We will be following public health regulations to ensure everyone can remain safe during these times. Illegal Dumping

This is a friendly reminder that dumping your garbage in our bin is illegal and redirects the cost of disposal onto the club as it is the community centre’s responsibility, not the city’s, to dispose of garbage on the property. Disposal of other people’s garbage may redirect funds that may have otherwise been used to provide affordable programming for all who enjoy our centres and we pride ourselves in providing some of the lowest fees for our various programming. Anti-Racism Toolkit for Kids from the City of Winnipeg

Recreation Services, with support from Equitas – International Centre for Human Rights Education, has developed a child-friendly toolkit which includes a variety of activities geared towards children aged 6-12 years old.  The kit is designed to complement the work that community groups and educators may already be doing, but the activities can also be introduced at home.  All activities are participatory, and explore Anti-Racism and Inclusion themes.   Children will have the opportunity to participate in a design challenge where they … Continue reading
