Earlier this week the Valour Community Centre Family tragically lost a dedicated member of its volunteer board of directors.

Gloria Craciun was our Secretary since the birth of Valour CC ten years ago, and prior to that Gloria served on the volunteer board at the Orioles Community Centre. Gloria was a part of our amalgamation process as she was the only representative from the old Orioles CC volunteer board who took part in the planning stages, and countless meetings. It was not easy, but she did it with a smile on her face, always seeing the positive aspects of situations that arose during the process.

Gloria brought life and laughter to our Valour Board meetings, and was a very giving member of her community as a whole, ready to roll up her sleeves and jump in with both feet to help out when needed.

On behalf of Valour Community Centre’s Volunteer Board of Directors, I would like to express our most heartfelt condolences to Gloria’s family…..
