Valour Community Centre’s School Rec Program will be re-opening on September 8th, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines we have made several changes to our program.
Since we are not open until September 8th we will be holding three registration days this month.
- Thursday, August 20 10:00am – 3:00 pm.
- Wednesday, August 26 9:00am – 12:00pm.
- Thursday, August 27 3:00pm – 7:00pm.
These are the only times that we will be accepting registrations. If for some reason you cannot come at any of these times, please call the centre during these times so that we can set up an alternate time to meet with you.
Our registration form will be available on our website as of Monday, August 17th, 2020. We are asking parents/guardians with access to a printer to print the form and fill it out in advance to minimize the amount of people waiting in the building.
***Priority will be given to returning Isaac Brock School families.*** New families will be put on a waiting list and will be called in the order they are added.
Our new hours of operation will be 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Drop off and pick up routines will be different as parents are not allowed in the building unless making a payment. This is to minimize the amount of people the children are exposed to while in our care.

Lunch Program
We are planning to run our lunch program out of the school again. However, at this time we do not have more information on it. We know that it will be different as we can no longer have large groups of children close together in the same room. We can no longer provide microwaves for heat ups due to the COVID-19 restrictions on preparing food so we are asking parents/guardians to send food that can be eaten cold or to heat the food at home and put it in a thermos.
We will be accepting registration for the lunch program but it will subject to change and/or cancellation. As soon as we have more information we will post it on the website and our Facebook page.
