In light of the newly announced Public Health orders that go into effect Sunday, May 9th, 2021, GCWCC is recommending that community centres close again. Until further notice, the school recreation program at the Isaac Brock site will remain operational, otherwise all our sites, Isaac, Orioles and Clifton will be closed to the public. Dear Parents/Guardians, We regret to inform you that as of Friday, November 27th, 2020 the Valour Community Centre School Rec Program and the Lunch Program will be temporarily closing. Due to rising Covid-19 case numbers in Winnipeg, several of our staff who have underlying health problems have expressed concern about working with a large number of people and will be taking a temporary leave of absence. School Streets A friendly reminder that Barratt Ave is transitioning into a pilot “School Street”. This is an important aspect of Isaac Brock’s plan for welcoming students back to school and adapting to transportation limitations. Barratt Ave is closed to vehicle traffic Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4pm, starting September 8.
