It’s time to announce the contests we have planned in association with the West End Miracle Parade!
Contest 1: A HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST
Santa wants to see how much Christmas spirit the West End has so we are holding a HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST! Santa will get his elves to jot down the homes that catch his eye and choose his favourite, one from each night. He will later deliver the prize of “Santa’s Pick” from each night one and night two to the winners. On top of that, we will post a picture of the remaining ones Santa loved and select a “Fan Favourite” based on the “likes” the photo receives from you, the West End residents.

Contest 2: A COLOURING CONTEST!
We are bringing you a colouring contest for all our neighbourhood kids within the centre’s catchment, found here: http://valourcc.ca/facilities/! There are 5 age categories: ages 2-3, ages 4-5, ages 6-8, ages 9-12 and ages 13-16. The age category is written on the corresponding colouring page. The colouring pages will also be available on the Valour Community Centre’s website for download and to print at home. If you need to pick up a colouring sheet, feel free to come down to the Isaac Brock site most evenings, the Orioles site Monday/Wednesday evenings 7-930, or the Clifton site Tuesday/Thursday evenings 630-8. It might be a good idea to call the centre of choice first to ensure that someone will be there in case there was a last minute cancelation. Phone numbers for each site are available in the above link.Submissions are due December 9th. You can drop them off in the mailboxes at any of the sites, or you can email a picture of your child’s submission to: valourcccommunications@gmail.com. Please list the child’s name and address on the submission as Santa hopes to deliver the prizes the nights of the parade! If your child is outside of the parade route, Santa will deliver at a later date.
