  All member of the public are invited to attend Valour Community Centre’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 2 pm, at the Isaac Brock Site (715 Telfer St. N.), in the Common Room. Coffee, refreshments, and dainties will be served. All Board positions are open for nomination and election. Information about all Valour CC programs will be available. Come on down, get involved, and impact your community!  


Valour CC is running a new pilot program this summer! Mini T-Ball!   Join us for an hour of fun as we get active and learn the ABC’s of Baseball! Beginning with some basic skill building, we work in 20 minute blocks with kids to learn things like how to catch a grounder, throw a ball, and swing a bat.   The goal of the program is to have lots of fun, while learning the skills to play baseball/softball.   … Continue reading

Mini-Soccer Registration 2018

Have a child who wants to play mini-soccer but doesn’t meet the age requirement? If they are 3 years old by January 1st, 2018, we welcome them to join our “Intro to Mini-Soccer” program. Cost is $25 which includes a jersey, field instruction and end of season wind-up complete with participation metal. Like our Mini-Soccer program, this program will be run by volunteers but parent participation on the field is mandatory. Registration starts March 1st. WMBA 2018 Spring Registration Information

SPRING REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN ONLINE ON FEBRUARY 23RD TO MARCH 19 JR NBA 5-7 YEAR OLDS  The introductory program for boys and girls 5-7. The program runs 1 time a week for 1 hour. STEVE NASH YOUTH BASKETBALL 8 BOYS 8/9 GIRLS The fundamental skill of basketball focus. Players will practice 1 time a week and have 1-2 games per week. Attention: Closure Notice

Valour Community Centre’s 3 sites will be closed the evening of Friday, January 5th, 2018 for a private event. The lights will still be on for the rinks at Clifton and Orioles, however access to the centres themselves will NOT be permitted. Please keep this in mind if you plan on utilizing the rinks. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Rink Times

The ice rinks at all 3 sites are open! The following is the times they will be open: Isaac Brock Site: Daily 9am-sunset Clifton Site: Monday to Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-8pm Orioles Site: Monday to Friday 10am-8pm These are the times that lights will be on at the rinks and/or staff on duty inside the community centres. Skating outside these times is unadvised.
