Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a great holiday season this year despite the craziness. We wanted to get an update out as to what’s happening with the School Rec Program, the Lunch Program and the Orioles After School Program.

The School Rec Program at our Isaac Brock site will unfortunately be staying closed for now. We will be looking at re-opening after Spring Break. Currently we still do not have the staffing or enough enrollment to sustain the program. We will be calling the families in the program closer to Spring Break to find out who will be needing care.

Our Lunch Program is being run by the Isaac Brock Parent Council who were generous enough to take it over when we closed in November. They will continue to run it until at least March.

The Orioles After School Program will stay closed for now as well, as the Province is still not allowing drop in programs to open. We will look at re-opening after Spring Break.

We apologize for the inconvenience that all these closures have brought to the families who depend on us and we are doing our best to plan for a re-opening that will allow us to safely staff and run these programs. If you have any questions, please email Liz at ejackimec@gmail.com

*** If you have an outstanding balance on your bill please call (204)775-5728 to make arrangements to come to the community centre and pay it. Our Manager, Adam, is there most days. Please call in advance as the doors are locked. ***
