New Health Orders May 2021

In light of the newly announced Public Health orders that go into effect Sunday, May 9th, 2021, GCWCC is recommending that community centres close again. Until further notice, the school recreation program at the Isaac Brock site will remain operational, otherwise all our sites, Isaac, Orioles and Clifton will be closed to the public. Covid-19 Before and After School Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians, We regret to inform you that as of Friday, November 27th, 2020 the Valour Community Centre School Rec Program and the Lunch Program will be temporarily closing.  Due to rising Covid-19 case numbers in Winnipeg, several of our staff who have underlying health problems have expressed concern about working with a large number of people and will be taking a temporary leave of absence. Isaac Brock School’s School Street Program Survey

School Streets A friendly reminder that Barratt Ave is transitioning into a pilot “School Street”. This is an important aspect of Isaac Brock’s plan for welcoming students back to school and adapting to transportation limitations. Barratt Ave is closed to vehicle traffic Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4pm, starting September 8. Update: School Program Registration

Just a reminder that since we are not open until September 8th we will be holding three registration days this month.  Thursday, August 20 10:00am – 3:00 pm. Wednesday, August 26 9:00am – 12:00pm. Thursday, August 27 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Please if you have access to a printer, print out the registration form and bring it in pre-filled out on one of the dates above or please call the centre to make other arrangements. Thank you!

Isaac Brock Site School Rec Program 2020-2021

Valour Community Centre’s School Rec Program will be re-opening on September 8th, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines we have made several changes to our program.  Since we are not open until September 8th we will be holding three registration days this month.  Thursday, August 20 10:00am – 3:00 pm. As you know, Valour Community Centre is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
