Thanks to all of the community members, Valour CC Board Members and volunteers, School Trustee Kevin Freedman, and City Councillor Cindy Gilroy who came down to the Orioles Site for our Fall Community Gathering and Open House. your input on our programming, and your support of the centre are so valuable, and we are very grateful!
Valour CC will be holding a Community Gathering on Saturday, October 24, from 11 am to 1 pm, at the Orioles Site (448 Burnell St)! We will be offering some free food and refreshments, there will be a draw for a door-prize, and we will be taking input directly from the community on what kind of programming you would like to see offered at Valour CC’s three sites. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what’s already going on at your local community centre, and have your say on the direction it takes in the future! Very big thanks to Councillor Cindy Gilroy, and School Trustee Kevin Freedman – who will both be in attendance at this event – for their huge help in organizing this community gathering!
